For 2026, Ford publishes an Available Trailer Tow Packages matrix with receiver notes that sets the year-level equipment rules. Conventional towing above 5,000 lbs requires a weight-distribution system. 5th-wheel rows still follow Ford's 15% king pin guidance even when no extra row label appears.
